| This is where all of livejournal's iconmakers get some extra attention. Each year a new round starts and anyone who wants can nominate their favorite makers, vote and perhaps even take home a trophy! It's important to us that you read all of our rules and guidelines. For the most part we will comment and let you know when you're doing something wrong. But if we happen to, let's say, get an extra amount of nominations to one category, we will probably forget. So please, read through the section below. We appreciate it more than you can imagine! How does it work? Nomination » There will be a number of categories for you to nominate in (see list furthur down.) Each will have their own post for you to comment on. » When nominating you need to include the iconmaker's username and where they post their icons (community, journal, scrapbook, etc.) » Along with the username you must include 4 icons. This is very important when it's time for voting and it makes it easier on us mods. » You may only nominate 5 iconmakers in each category. You can, however, nominate a maker in several of the categories (as long as they fit the description of the award.) » You cannot nominate your own icons. We want to keep this community as fair as possible and that would simply not work. Feel free to tell others to nominate you, though. » Nominating iconmakers whose iconjournals are members only is allowed. As long as you follow rule number three. Voting » When the nomination posts are closed, voting polls will be posted for each category. You may then vote for as many of your favorite iconmakers as you want, apart from yourself. » If there is a spelling error in any of the polls, it's too late to change as the polls get locked once they are posted. If the error is outside of the poll, please comment and let us know. » Once the voting is over, the makers with the most votes in each category will be posted. They will also recieve a small trophy as "prize". Categories Find all posts for each category in our tags list.
